TCHATT-Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine
What is TCHATT and how can it help your child?
"Dell Medical School's (DMS) TCHATT program enables school districts to identify and assess students' behavioral health needs and provide them with access to short-term telehealth appointments at no cost."
Visit the TCHATT website for more information regarding this powerful tool
How it works...
Students connect with TCHATT through the campus counselor who acts as the TCHATT liaison. Students complete their confidential sessions at school, via Zoom, following an initial registration appointment held between TCHATT, campus liaison, and parent/guardian.
What can I expect?
Students receive short-term telehealth appointments at no cost to student or family.
If more sessions are encouraged by the provider, TCHATT works closely with the family and community to find appropriate services and resources for continued care.

CCHS students participate in YAM (Youth Aware of Mental Health)
"...an interactive, evidence-based program for students designed to increase mental health literacy and awareness among young people. The 5-session program focuses on suicide prevention, the development of problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence through lecture, discussion and role-play."
Please contact your student's campus counselor if you would like to find out more or set up a registration appointment.
