Congratulations to Wyatt Clay, our next "Books and Beyond" Reader of the school year Mae Stevens Early Learning Academy. UPDATE as of 8:21 p.m. Jan. 20th
CCISD staff have continued driving local roads to monitor weather conditions. Out of an abundance of caution, Copperas Cove ISD will be CLOSED on Tues., Jan. 21st and school canceled.
We plan to resume class on Wed., Jan. 22nd.


Parents, Families & Staff,
CCISD will begin operations on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, Jan. 21st. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and communicate any further changes immediately.


CCISD's Emergent Bilingual program recently hosted its annual Multicultural Festival, celebrating some of the diverse cultures here in Copperas Cove. Thank you to everybody who helped make this event a success.

Congratulations to our Bike Winners. Wyatt Clay and Taraji Jones both had Perfect Attendance all during the 1st Semester of school. They each won a bike donated from The Women of the Moose Lodge from Copperas Cove. Students at Mae Stevens Early Learning Academy had their 3rd 6 weeks Awards. Students were awarded in Perfect Attendance, All Day Every Day, Tardy Free, Academic Excellence, Most Improved, Citizen of the 6 Weeks, PE Award, Fine Arts Award, I Know My ABC's Award, and I Can Count to 30 Award. Congratulations to all our recipients.

Tuesday evening, the CCISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the hiring of Dr. Brent Hawkins as the district's next Superintendent of Schools.
